Grassroots Grant Program

The Stanly County Arts Council offers grant opportunities for local non-profit arts related organizations and/or programs through the Projects Pool of the Grassroots Grant Program.  This program is through the North Carolina Arts Council and is a per capita funding program.  

Each year, The Stanly County Arts Council invites local non-profit arts organizations or organizations that have a strong arts program to apply to the Grassroots Grant Projects Pool for funding consideration.

 Once applications are received, the Grants Panel of the Arts Council will review the applications and will make funding recommendations to the full Board of Trustees of The Arts Council.

Grassroots funds must be matched dollar for dollar. Interested applicants must contact the Arts Council office for applications.

Please call the Arts Council’s office, 704-982-8118 between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Applications must be received in the Council’s office no later than 5PM on Friday, September 28, 2007  We ask that you turn in six (6) copies of your application.
